Budding New Morris Men/Lady Musicians. Come along
and see what it's all about.
These Chaps like Dancing with Men
Well lots of Morris Dancers do including Trigg
Having now finished with this year's season, it
is time to brush up their dancing skills and add new items for the future.
It is also time when like minded men with an
aspiration for the Morris Dance are invited to enlist as Dancers or
Musicians, so, if you do not fancy Cricket or Rugby, perhaps this is
the team sport for you, especially if you have an ear for the music.
Whether a novice or a man of experience you should soon be able to
perform with style.
Members of the side come from all over the
Eastern half of Cornwall, so there may well be someone near you who
is part of the action, therefore do not let distance be an issue.
The Side enjoy entertaining the Public on a
regular basis from May to September, and occasionally at other time,
but all gatherings will end with some socialising that generates the
camaraderie that is usual amongst Morris Sides.
Being Members of The Morris Ring, the Dancers
are men, although the Ladies are welcome in the side as Musicians on
an equal footing with their male counterparts.
Those who are avid cinema goers should look out
for Trigg's appearance in 'The Bad Education Movie' that has been
recently released, although this does not represent the normal dance show.
Practices are held on Thursday Evenings at the
BCA Rooms, on Mount Folly, Bodmin at 8 pm, so if you feel it is for
