Thursday 18th January at 8 pm sees the resumption of the new weekly practice sessions at the Walker Lines Gymnasium, Normandy Way, PL31 1EU, when Members will continue preparing for the forthcoming season.

Those with an interest in the Morris with or without previous experience of the Morris are also invited to come to these evenings to give it a trial run. If you have any queries please look at our website or send an e mail to;  triggbagman@hotmail.com for some answers and allay any apprehensions you may have.

We are actively recruiting for new Morris Dancers (see below)

Budding New Morris Men/Lady Musicians. Come along and see what it's all about.

As always, it's time when like minded men with an aspiration for the Morris Dance are invited to enlist as Dancers or Musicians, so, if you do not fancy Cricket or Rugby, perhaps this is the team sport for you, especially if you have an ear for the music. Whether a novice or a man of experience you should soon be able to perform with style.

Members of the side come from all over the Eastern half of Cornwall, so there may well be someone near you who is part of the action, therefore do not let distance be an issue.

The Side enjoy entertaining the Public on a regular basis from May to September, and occasionally at other time, but all gatherings will end with some socialising that generates the camaraderie that is usual amongst Morris Sides.

Being Members of The Morris Ring, the Dancers are men, although the Ladies are welcome in the side as Musicians on an equal footing with their male counterparts.

Practices are held on Thursday Evenings at the Walker Lines Gymnasium, Bodmin at 8 pm (wef 18th Jan until the end of April), so if you feel it is for you just turn up on a Thursday and see if it is for you. Come join us for a beer afterwards at the Masons Arms, Bodmin.

For other information,  call Roger on 01208 73907.

Come watch us practice on a Thursday evening at the Walker Lines Gymnasium, Bodmin during the winter months, join us for a pint or two at Masons Arms Bodmin afterwards. Who knows? you might want to join us!

Trigg Morris Show Dance at Chipping Campden Morris Ring Meeting 2012
