Big changes for Trigg Morris

Paul Reece has now taken over as Squire of Trigg Morris for the next two years, replacing Phil Champion, Paul is one of our members with much experience of the Morris having in the past held the post of Squire of the respected Thaxted Morris Men in Essex and Squire of the Morris Ring. Paul faces unknown challenges with the change in the Trigg Constitution allowing ladies to join as full dancing members.

A Significant policy change by Trigg Morris of Bodmin Cornwall

Following the decision at last years ARM (AGM of the Morris Ring), when it was agreed that Dance Sides that included lady dancers could be members, Trigg at their own AGM decided to follow this trend & will now welcome Ladies into the side to dance,

We will continue with our policy of performing the Dance Traditions of Bucknell, Fieldtown, Lichfield & Stanton Harcourt & will now welcome all prospective members who might wish to join us to learn, or perhaps relearn the dances.

If you are interested in this opportunity please turn up at the One for All Community Centre, Lanivet, PL30 5HG at 8 pm on Thursdays until November 25th, when we take a break for Yuletide Festivities, or contact us via triggbagman@hotmail.com

As always anyone interested in the Morris, whether experienced or novice, are invited to get in touch. You could then enjoy some of the fun we experience as a team when practising & performing.
